Still Alive, Just Busy with Brainstorming

Just a quick update to let you know that I am still hear, I have just been busy with getting back to school [full-time], work [part-time], helping family out, having a relationship, and trying to get back into work for Primerica on top of all this. Summer has always been a busy season but it seems that since I have graduated High School life itself has gotten a lot busier, chaotic, and active! I have done a lot of growing up and I have to say that I am proud with all the lessons that I have learned in my life so far. I have done many things wrong in the past but the things that have been going on lately has made life the more meaningful!! I am glad to have wonderful people in my life and those people know who they are!!

I just wanted to let you all know that things keep going great with Andrew and I am glad that I have him in my life!! I have recently found out that anything that has happened in my day I cannot wait to share with him. Not only that but each night I get to talk to him on the phone makes it special. I haven't seen him in two weeks so I have been busy trying to get it to were I can see him before I get really busy. On top of this blog I got a social life but soon things are gonna keep getting updated.

I am working in a system were I keep this updated more but for now this is all I needed to let you all know at the time!!!

Twitter Testimonial and Follow Friday

So I have been getting back into tweeting a lot and I have been meeting a lot of nice and friendly people via twitter!! When I first signed up for twitter I was using it lightly because I was [of course] new to the whole ordeal but it hasn't been until here recently I have been using it as a neat little tool that I can get things off my chest and get feedback on most of my tweets. Well here I have been updating you on things because I'm so comfortable. I have broken out of my twitter shell that you guys know what I'm doing, thinking, listening to, reading, news, etc, etc. I now also participate in the Follow Friday's that I make it a goal to blog my recommendations of Follow Fridays so that everyone knows how active I am on twitter.

My Follow Friday recommendations will be a mixture of my followers mentioning me in any form of #hashtag for Follow Friday plus I will be adding their recommendations to my list permitting how there profile looks. Not only that but grading on the level of how often they tweet! Once I am gathering my list I will be tweeting a short list of names that will be on my list so that way people can tell that I haven't forgotten about Follow Friday. Most times I am hoping to have this list up and posted the same day but this week has been a real busy week and I was extremely busy with an important business issue and had to postpone the blog until now!

TweetDeck is a twitter application that is ran on your desktop computer. It is by far the greatest one that I found out there. I use it all the time because it not only allows me to tweet but I also have the option to update my facebook status. With the latest version you can not only get better options of getting everyone's tweet by having your lists off twitter on TweetDeck. I recommend it to anyone who uses Windows and who is worried about API. If you use the right settings you don't have to worry about going over. To download follow the link above.

Twitter: My Revolution

Most of everyone has heard of Twitter by now but many still don't have a Twitter account. I don't mind who does or doesn't have a Twitter because its their reason they don't but most of the many users who do find that they love it because they find more people who like stuff they do. I use it to update people on what I am doing throughout the day as well as to create more friendships and find others around me who would like to hang. I even use it to keep in touch with friends who I have known for a while. Most views of my blog know that my username on Twitter is @MandiDavis and I even have a RSS feed on here. Well I have recently gotten a new cellphone provider in which my tweets can be sent to me via text. Well I have gone through my list of people who follow me and my list of people I follow and have complied a list of people who I have their tweets sent to my phone. My list is based of friends who I tweet with on a daily basis, those who send updates (i.e. New stations, bands, etc), or even just people who I really want to keep in touch. I had to keep the list to a bare minimum so that my phone won't blow up. I just want to say to all my Twitter friends, if it gets outta hand I'll just swith it to Direct Messages. But I am hoping it don't come down to that.

A New Writing Idea

So last night I was working on falling asleep when all I could think about was how much I missed this guy. A guy who is the one I could tell anything to, one I would love to cuddle up to at night and all that juicy stuff. But anywho thats when I got the idea to do another writing thing [which might require another blog but I'm sure I can deal] that includes writing memorandiums of things that go on in my everday life. But that just something that came to mind.

Its not that I am not bored with writing because I already have two novels that are ready to be edited and published; one that I am working on that is a sequel to the two novels waiting to be published; a true story type deal on how to survive teenage years but I am sure that I can try to make all of it work for me to were I can get those published soon [if not I will find a way to get them out to everyone]. But when I am bored I love to write.
